Jing Tian's anger melted completely when he heard my voice. He quickly poured me a glass of water. "Is your throat still uncomfortable? Why is your voice so hoarse?"

I held his hand. The fragility in his eyes made my heart ache.

I found the courage that I lost. I nodded seriously. "Jing Tian, I will never give up! No matter who objects, no one is going to shake my conviction!"
