Escribe una reseñaAlright so this novel is really not bad. As with most Chinese novels, there’s always a peanut gallery which strokes the MC’s ego or worships him after watching him perform. But for all intents and purposes this is a modern world with modern rules, and it lacks all the other annoying tropes such as rich young master or hidden ancestor etc. Instead, it’s a pretty generic beast taming setting. What I think sets it a bit further apart from the others is in the way the MC chooses to cultivate his pets’ interests. He tends to foster their competitive spirit and a sense of crisis that they will be left behind or will be unable to catch up if they don’t work hard. He also tends to tell them cultivation genre stories but inserts them as the main protagonists. A big part of their motivation to do something is when he offers to read them the next chapter or two. As most people have already figured out, this world is the pokemonized version of Soul Land. The “ancient antiquity era” is the Soul Land era, then there’s a break in civilization which has little to no history, then there was an alien invasion which pushed beasts and humans into one camp to defend their world. Now beasts and humans live in relative harmony and instead of killing beasts to gain their soul rings, there’s the life contract which empowers both parties and the soul rings grow with the growth of the pets. All in all, it’s a pretty interesting concept to combine an ancient (tens of thousands of years) immortal cultivator, the world of soul land (with a couple surviving old timers), and a modern beast taming world with Pokémon elements. Most of everything is sufficiently explained and follows a consistent internal logic. Most if not all arcs will sound familiar (pet battles, forbidden zone expeditions, school setting, etc) so don’t expect anything you’ve not seen before. My only real gripe is the abrupt and unfinished ending and several unresolved mysteries. It’s worth a read for fun but don’t expect to be blown away by anything.
This book is good and there are none arrogant young master (0) . But the END make me Disappointed. overall this is good read and i still recomend to read it
A good read. It could have been an awesome one instead, but it was ruined by how towards the end everything just seems to be a summary trying to move the story forward quickly. Even the ending is just too sudden and abrupt. Not a good ending at all. 😏
Revelar spoilermuch better than expected. it feels like a cross between soul land and pokemon to me. the mc is a typical reincarnated superpower adjusting to the world but doesn't go around face slapping or whatever childish stuff most do. rather, he goes and fixes what he needs to and keeps his head down to cultivate otherwise. he also takes a moderately proactive stance for the rest of the world. It's nice that there isn't the over the top agression everywhere, and the typical rampant racism is also absent. the story is over at a bit over 500 chapters which is kinda sad but meh. the writing does have chunks clearly just for word count but its not horrible. i might skip half a chapter occasionally but im never skipping whole chapters feeling like nothing has happened.
love it... different from other OP MCs, mc is very humble but confident. just wish the novel would be longer and not end the way it has... definitely will re-read it...[img=recommend]
Revelar spoilerFelt like reading soul land and Pokemon mixed together. But compared to some other novels this novel has impressive character background. MC is also impressive not all op from beginning and all face slapping.
It's a in your face! Fast food type novel. Flashy, straightforward and mainstream quirks like cuteness and seasonal flairs. Like it is made for a animated adaptation. For kids basically. There's no death even half way through, like Pokemon every enemy ends with unconscious or giving up. Basically children entry level edgy novel.
Don't bother reading this. Authors gave up with writing it around chapter 500 and just writes a plot summary of what was going to happen. Don't read this, don't get invested in this, and don't waste your time on this. Only took one point off translation quality because the quality is great but they had to have known this for a while and told nobody so people would still waste their coins on this.
would have given it a better rating but the book just ends. it's all going good to the chapter right before the last, then it just wraps up in a single chapter. you could have at least drawn the ending out a few chapters .
read till chapter 481 (latest), much better than others, good story development, good character development, good background history, MC is in the middle of events occasionally, better than others where do many events make it sick. just increase chapter release frequency
Translation Quality 1 . Am currently at ch 220. The story is good, but the translation is hard to understand when there are some lines missing in some chaps and all the pronouns are replaced as 'it'. Till chap 40 is good. After that, the English and translation are never even considered properly.
if bear treasure had titan bloodline from thunder soul earth. there is a possibility of having meteoritic yin yang lightning due to hot nature of its cultivation technique.
it was good, it enthralled me, buttttt the author just seem to be so desperate to making it seem like the mc and his beats are weaker than they are. he tries so hard to make it seem that it is understandable that the characters underestimate him and his beasts, thats despite everytime they did so, the mc always show them otherwise. but then, tomorrow that day, the characters just seem to forget all his and his beats' accomplishments. there is this times when the beasts suddenly act out of character just to make it seem that they are weak and that their power has costs. one example is that the beast would act like this then the characters would see it that it was the price the beasts have to pay for using such poweful moves. like really? the bear just punched several times on the sand then the character would automatically think that its because the payment is due???
(I have read about 150chapters) 1).In my opinion if you ever read doulou dalu series ( soul land) it is for the best that you stay away from this novel. It this similarity that originally that got me reading this novel and makes me realize how structure weak this novel. I found myself realizing things such as soul rings and spirit levels, spiritual aptitude were not really properly explained in the beginning; which is were you build the setting in any novel. Take for example example it would randomly mention some on is level 30 which in soul land would be a peak grand spirit master(it goes from 1-100 in increments of ten);however in this novel that structure is not explained . 2)Overall reading this novel was a slog, it feels like the constantly explaining something rather than exploring. Within in 150 chapters there already 2 tournaments which in my opinion is were novels pace basically come to a stall, which in this case was only a gimmick to hand out gifts to the mc. 3)The character development is severally lacking , while none of the characters are annoying per say they all come out as flat. The mc is pretty much a non arrogant Mary Sue. His whole reincarnate status basically allows him to now how to do everything and know everything which basically comes off as feeling unnatural as this depth to the character was not developed. This same principle worked in soul land as this reincarnation knowledge was a). was limited to a sect techniques and b). was gradually integrated into the world.
This book is good have read too 124 chapters. it's just that have toooooooo many tournaments and many skills to talk and explain how a skill old world and new world not work, again and again
just imagine Doulu Dalu and pokemon combined together. This is legit what this novel is. There's nothing unique about it. It's your typical wish fulfillment novel. Mc never loses a fight and if it seems like he's about to lose a fight the author will pull a uno reverse card. The funny thing is that anyone with a working brain can already see it coming since this novel is just a pokemon rip off wish fulfillment novel. Meaning, he will never lose.
Don't bother to read this Novel, it started very good. I even enjoyed it, but I don't know what happen to the Author he finished the novel in very bad way and in hurry. The ending was not satisfying. it I'll end around 500+ chapter. So don't hurt ur brain and heart by reading this novel. I hope some other author pick this novel and complete it in proper way.
This is a novel about a guy who had cultivated to be almost an immortal and somehow transmigrated to another world, a world where cultivation with qi was not possible. In this world the soul is cultivated directly and not as a side project as it is for a lot of immortal cultivators. The soul can be improved through soul beasts and due to an event in the past soul beasts agreed to let their young make contracts with the humans so that humans can use their intelligence to let the beasts grow faster and in return allow the humans to cultivate the soul. The main character is gets the worst pet tou can imagine but due to his background he can use his knowledge from the past to quickly train his pet and make it special. How the world works with almost every human having at least 1 soul beast reminds me of Pokémon. The beasts help in daily life and help their humans with normal work too. There are places like the research pavilion and universities that is similar to what the professor in Pokémon does and there are guild that could be seen as gyms and there are several other subtle references (including a bad guy who gave a very illogical but very team rocket like response). This novel is a surprise to me in multiple ways. The biggest is that I'm not really a fan of Pokémon like novels because with most of the Pokémon elements are added without a good explanation or reasoning. But the few that I enjoy are the ones that are just about beast taming or soul beasts that have no references to Pokémon. I don't hate Pokémon but Pokémon plays out in a world where there is no real world building and that is fine for Pokémon but for other stories I like to see more world building that makes sense. The surprise is that this novel has several subtle references to Pokémon but it is not annoying because there are good explanations for each reference. Something similar applies to plot armor. There is plenty of plot armor, just think about how easily he could use his knowledge from the past in a world that is completely different from the world he came from, but because it is well disguised with good reasons and logic the plot armor is not bothersome at all. The story itself is in essence still a story about a guy who has to start from zero again but the circumstances and the writing quality make this a fun read.
Only read to chapter 31. The writing is ok, no problem. my problem is the pokemon kind of fight (so far) where you stand and order you pet (which is a wrong way to call it if you ask me as beast and humans were equal in the start but now humans seem superior to beasts) to jump, duck, attack, dodge. just sounds stupid. not bad but i would rather read something else
Borring story, MC is an expert in everything and there really is no suspence. Its just a wish fulfilment story[img=exp][img=exp][img=exp][img=exp][img=exp][img=exp][img=exp]
The Author seems more interesting wasting our time with the details, and worst the repetitive manspLaining , by chapter 11 i started geting a migrain , great potential , bUt the constant repetitive explanation Between the actions or dialouge of the mc and other charecters is so fur cking anoying . its a big waste of time , something that could be read in 2 minutes , Gets extended to 5-10 times that amount .
With the spirit of an immortal cultivator and the body of a mortal, watch Wang Che attain heights that he couldn't reach as an immortal in this life. Humble beginnings are not an absolute death sentence for dreams. So dream big guyzz!!
Being cockblocked by premium just in 10 chapters truly shows how good this story is from the start. MC transmigrated from cultivation world with over 1000 years experience in multiple things. He planned to go to the top in new life with his past memory but the new world cannot cultivate, so he cultivate his pet to become OP
I love how main character motivate the Catterpillar. Just like writer throwing cliff hanger in the end of every chapters. The title can be change into "How to change your worm into OP beast"
Revelar spoilerthe world background is similar or even the same to douluo dalu or soul land. the world where one has to contract spirit to advance and the spirit use number of years as the basis of the power
Really good read, ending was so incredibly rushed I have no words. The plot was good enough if repetitive. The background was great but so many details were never expanded on. I’d call it a pretty great book with an ending that ruins everything the preceding 500 chapters built it up to
