"Moao!" Mi shouted in concern. 

I could sense someone approaching the barrier. I jumped down, landing effortlessly on the ground. I approached the barrier with the villagers following closely behind. I recognized the intruders and opened the barrier. Kali rushed over and jumped into a hug. I held her expressionlessly as Herais and a girl named Nira followed.

Kali pulled away with a smile, "Moao! I can't believe it's been a year already." 

The dragon clan didn't visit often due to the outside pressure. I had only seen them a total of three times since I first arrived here, which was three years ago. I looked at them cautiously, "Why are you here? Did something happen?"
