“I’ve never seen such a small dragon.” Soon after uttering the words without consideration, the minuscule object grew despondent.

“I-I-I wasn’t always like this! I used to be bigger.”

“What happened to you?”

He looked around in a manner reminiscent of when somebody is about to tell a secret.

"Someone attacked me!"

“Attacked? By whom?”

“Not whom, what.”

“Ok, by what were you attacked?” I asked.

“A fox-demon!” It cried, “It stole my chi, and I could barely escape with my life!”

I was about to ask about the demon when I felt Selene’s asked for attention inside my mind. She wanted to speak to this dragon too, and instead of what I was thinking, another thing came out of my mouth “Are you a creation of Shen Mu?”

The little guy scratched his chin, deep in thought. "It feels like I should know that name, but it doesn't ring a bell. "Why? Is it important?”
