Two days had passed since the discovery of the demi-humans in the forest surrounding Oakhart.

When they awoke, each was haunted by nightmarish memories of recent events —their homes burned, their families captured and killed. Ultimately, they were kidnapped and were to be forced into slavery in a foreign land.

The maids in the mansion and even some of the villagers volunteered to look after them and currently, they all stayed together at one place in the annex to heal.

At first, they were wary of us and viewed us with suspicion. However, with Maia's cooperation, who was also a demi-human, helped alleviate their unfounded concerns.

As time passed they were to some extent ready to believe us.
