Capítulo 8: Chapter 8: Different POV
Naruto POV:
Most of the villagers hate me but today I met someone who actually stood up for me, he even flattened that stupid store keeper who always chased me off whenever I got close to his shop. He looked older than me, which was weird, the kids my age try to avoid me but older people usually seem to hate me.
We went out for some Ramen and he even told me that my chakra was amazing, although I didn't feel good when he checked, I don't really get it but it was like my chakra tried to push out of my body and yet it wasn't mine.
I bet I will be Hokage in no time at all, then everyone will look up to me, everyone will know my name and no one look down on me again.
I've been trying to do what he suggests and work on my Chakra control, but standing with a leaf on my forehead trying to keep it there is really boring. I will ask light next time I see him if there are other methods, when I asked Iruka sensei he wouldn't tell me, he kept saying that I should just keep working on keeping the leaf in place.
My clones, have gotten slightly better since I started training but they still aren't great.
Kakashi POV:
I met a strange kid today. He had a strange view of the world, a childish view but it is a world I would like to see. I was surprised when he asked to spar with me but I'm glad he did, not just to see how he knew about Naruto and sensei but because I had a theory he could have been a spy, but I needed a way to confirm it. He mentioned that he wasn't in the academy, but his body and chakra level already seemed to be reaching Chunin level.
From one thing to the next he surprised me, he used a strange form of Taijutsu I had never seen before, the first style he used was obviously meant to subdue me, however, the difference in our physical skills made it impossible. When that didn't work he turned to a more aggressive style that I also didn't recognise, neither style came from any of the hidden villages. If I had to guess he had created this style himself, for a kid so young to create his own style like this, I haven't seen this kind of talent since my sensei.
The most unusual thing was the kids weapon, I had picked it up and tried to end the fight with it, but when I pointed it at him, he stabbed himself and it somehow reappeared in his hand. I have never seen a weapon be able to do this before, even the seven swordsmen of the mist's weapons didn't have an ability that strange. I should have known better that to use an unfamiliar weapon in battle, I will be more careful next time.
At first I was playing it slow to feel the kid out but, I let down my guard and got a cut on my chin, the more we fought the more his sword gave off a new sense of danger, he was using me as his whetstone. I jumped back and launched a fire ball towards him. He raised his sword and shouted out a strange name, his chakra seemed to surge and shot out his blade, colliding with my fire jutsu they cancelled each other out.
The Match was over, whatever move he used had drained him of almost all his chakra.
He then made a strange request to learn my clan's sword style. I had used it myself when younger but after receiving my Sharingan my physical ability worsened and the sword became a hindrance to me. No one had used the style fully since my Father, but this kid, he has potential, he might be as good as my father if he trained.
The kid was still suspicious so I bought myself some time, he said he was rejected by the academy, but his talent was obvious, he had already trained himself to this degree without anyone teaching him.
I looked through the academy records and found something was off. On the final markings it said he got a 0 in his written test, but when I found it in the filing he had answered everything correctly. A similar situation had happened with his physical test, the sheet said he came in dead last, but when I asked Iruka about it, he remember the kid had finished in the middle.
Someone kept this kid from the academy, but why? that was the question I was able to find no answer to. Whoever did this covered their tracks well and also harmed the leaf by keeping this prodigy from us.
I quickly rushed over to the Hokage and kneeled in front of him.
"Lord Hokage"
"Kakashi, this is an unexpected visit, how can I help you?"
I told the Hokage about the kid I had met and fought with and he listened with interest. Looking at me with surprise when I mentioned certain aspects, his weapon, his unique taijutsu styles, being self trained and finally his denial to join the academy.
"Hmmmm, such a genius shouldn't be lost and the matter regarding who kept him out of the academy is strange indeed" he let out a large amount of smoke from his pipe. "I will have the matter thoroughly investigated"
"You are set to meet him in a weeks time?"
"Yes, lord Hokage"
"Very good. I want you to keep an eye on him in the meantime, let me know if you see anything suspicious. When you meet him again in a week bring him to me. I want to meet this young man"
"Yes lord Hokage"
I disappeared from the Hokages office and headed back to the training field, the kid had gone.
"Summoning Jutsu"
"Yo Kakashi what's up?"
"Thanks for the help Pakkun. There was a kid here earlier today, I had a spar with him, I need you to pick up his scent and follow it"
"On it" he sniffed around the tree the kid had rested against during our spar and found a small drop of blood I had shed when holding a kunai to his neck. "This way"
Pakkun lead me deeper in to the forest until we came across a dense set of tree's, the kid was building a shelter towards the top. But I stayed out of sight and started my surveillance.
