Alex felt stupid for being involved in this girl's game. She was used to being the target of such schemes when she started in the modelling industry. Elliott was in a quandary at this point. It was his job to protect her, but he had failed because he had to do Ethan's job and talk to those present at the reception. Therefore, he had failed to take good care of her and give those bastards the opportunity to mess with her. He thought about making her his priority from now on and always putting her first in everything he does so that situations like this would not happen again.
