Looking at the rain falling outside the window, his blue eyes were without light, just like his heart. 

Though his sister had taken him away from the palace for the meantime, he still couldn't keep calm.

His gaze blank, unable to picture what the emperor would do to him after this.

Anger, disappointment, fear of his future... The dark clouds stirred a great storm inside his blue eyes. 

He didn't realize that his steps were leading him away from his entourage. 

And when he came back to his senses, he found himself alone in a quiet corridor. 

A deadlock, with only an easel standing in his way and a red rug hung over covering what seemed to be a painting. 

He frowned, and as curiosity drove him to walk closer, the ousted prince lifted the rug from the canvas.

Under the moonlight his breath caught, and his blue eyes shone, bedazzled. 

The beauty before him was nothing like he had seen before.
