Capítulo 42: Death of a Marshal
Lord Friedhelm von Thiersee had served as the Marshal of Kufstein for close to thirty years now. He was a man who was growing older in his years and now had long white hair, a matching beard, and many wrinkles. Despite his old age, the elderly man could still wield a sword in combat and command his liege's armies in battle.
That is until a week ago when his health took a sudden turn for the worse. His physicians did not know the cause of his illness and attributed it to the frailty of old age. However, today, the same day that Linde announced she was pregnant, the elderly man was lying on his deathbed in his family's domain in which they had ruled under the fealty of the von Kufsteins for centuries.

Zentmeister I just wanted to take the time to express my thanks to every one of you who read this novel and enjoy it. It has not even been out a month, and yet we already have 100k views! I honestly don't know how impressive that is from a relative perspective, as I usually read web novels well after they are released. However, it is far greater than my other Novel has achieved, and it has been out for more than 3 months already. So thank you all.
Also, a small change. I decided to change his house colors to Black, White, and Yellow/Gold. I've always liked the Holy Roman/Habsburg colors more than the Imperial German/Prussian. I will also edit all the previous chapter's to contain that small change. There's only a handful of chapters where his house's colors are mentioned, so it really does not change much aside from aesthetics.
