Nate wasn't sure what had gotten into him on the dance floor. One second he was telling himself to keep his hands off and the next he was giving back as good as he got. He was going to claim temporary insanity as his defense. When Dani pressed up against him in those tight leggings, it short-circuited his brain. He was definitely going to have to stay sharp.

"Maybe we should go," Dani said, and he agreed. He didn't think being in the crowded bar was a good idea anymore.

Grabbing their stuff at the table, they made their way out, and then Nate remembered they'd walked to the bar. Both had planned on drinking, and he didn't want to chance driving. His hotel wasn't too far away, but he needed to make sure Dani got home.

As they started down the street, Dani looked up at him. "Isn't your hotel that way?"
