KT drove down the street to the house that sat on the corner, a house that had been pulling to him since he got off the plane over an hour ago. He never expected to be here. One thing KT never did was run after anyone, but he was taking a chance on Megan, and he hoped it paid off.

Life had been fine until a couple of days ago. Well, he thought life had been fine. Apparently his bandmates and Shelby didn't think it was. Shelby had come in one day looking guilty again. He told her to stop, but what he found was that she looked that way for something totally different. She admitted to calling Megan. When she told him what Megan had said, he couldn't believe what he'd heard. It all made sense, and when he heard Megan's side of things, he knew why she'd run.
