Capítulo 60: Chapter 58: Holy Shit
"Holy shit!" Of course was the first thing that left David's lips as he watched his brother and friends be completely enclosed in vines and roots. Was he dreaming? His eyes turned to the other spells on the screen of his laptop, there were three spells he could see the symbol and name, the rest were not in the screenshot he had taken. "Uhm... David?" Graham nervously chuckled as he tried to keep calm- "What the fuck just happened?" Jessie, however, was more than agitated, she was freaking the fuck out! "Let me go you freak!" There was fear in her eyes, which did hurt David's little heart. "I don't know how!" David shouted back at her, also slowly panicking- As if to react to his panic, the vines and roots wrapping Jessie tightened, making her gasp in pain as a vine wrapped around her throat. "Nononononono-" Now he was panicking, pulling the vines back as they moved further, they were attacking his friends!
"Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck!" Cursing repeatedly, he pulled the vines back further, until he heard them snap, he looked back to see if he had set them free but no, they were still tied up. "Shit- Release!" He shouted, trying to see if it worked, and for his surprise, it did. With a thumping sound, his friends fell to the grass, all gasping for air as the vines were strangling them due to David's panicking and loosing control. "Fuck, are you guys okay?" He quickly helped his brother up, he took his hand and steadied himself before looking at him with a mix of confusion and relief, but the others weren't like that... Orion looked at him with fear and apprehension, Scarlett looked at him with doubt and some other indescribable emotions, while Jessie was full on panicked, afraid, and ENRAGED: "What the fuck was that? Were you trying to kill me you bitch-"
Jessie Jones, daughter of Joseph James Jones and Jessica Jones, she is what others would call... A bitch. However, she is also a loyal friend, but only to Scarlett who she has been friends with for over 10 years now. As she shouted at him, there was this sudden feeling of dread, but he didn't know where it came from so he ignored it for a second. "It wasn't me- Well, technically it was, but i didn't know magic was fucking real!" He felt unnaturally... afraid? Yeah, he was scared of something, he turned to look around in this night, trees surrounding them alongside grass and some rocks, but- A sudden shadow moved, darting about the darkness, but David saw the red eyes glowing at him and he felt a pain in his head as a voice called in his head: [Ah... A young Druid~!] The voice was strangely guttural and rough- [I'm so lucky!] And from the forest came running a skinny- No, completely bone and skin, a dark grey skin while both the deer skull on the head alongside long and thin antlers were white.
"Since when were Wendigos a fucking thing!?" Orion shouted as his brother pulled him back jnto his arms as everyone started running! [COME BACK HERE!] Shouted the creature that looked like a Wendigo, since they didn't know if it was a Wendigo or something else, but the display of magic earlier was enough to make them doubt their own reality and believe that this might be, in fact, a Wendigo- A creature that loved eating human flesh.
They were afraid, desperate, and panicking- This was worse than being tied by those damn things that David did earlier!

Wait!
"Graham!" David panted, looking calling out to his brother while everyone ran- The Wendigo was after him, he was sure of it, because even though after his friends ran away the Wendigo only followed him! "It's after me!" He shoted at the top of his lungs, pulling his hand free from his brother and running in another direction, because if he was about to die then he wouldn't want to drag his brother down with him! Well, he had a plan, but he didn't think it would work!
He would put on a trap, since he previously casted that magic spell hy writing down a symbol and saying the spell name out loud, so he wanted to bring the creature to a place he could maybe save himself and his brother? Yeah, he also had the same screenshots he had taken from that site in his phone, he didn't know what they did, but he had those other two spells to try out- Hopefully one of them can kill it, if not, he can try that thing he did when he was panicking because he sure is panicking right now! "Shit-" He heard the trees behind snap, hopefully his brother is running away now or this would've been in fucking vain right now! [Stop running!] The creature suddenly fell from above in front of him, he instantly froze when he saw the thing- Now that it was so close to him, he noticed the sudden red tattoos of circles and lines connecting each other into the chest of the creature, the red eyes came from the empty sockets of the deer skull while the large white antlers looked like white marble and not bone.
[It's time... Finally I'll make my God happy!] There was a sudden black smoke coming out of the Wendigo skull- Until large chains started to form around the body of the beast, David panicked and dropped to the ground, drawing the symbol- one circle, inside the cirle a triangle, and in each point of the triangle he placed a square.
A simple symbol, but in the center of the circle he had to do a single little letter from a language he didn't know. [Hmm?] The Wendigo tilted its head to the side as they raised their clawed large hand to strike down when- BAM! From behind, Graham hit the beast with a large branch, hitting it square on the back of the left knee, making it loose balance for a second, but the creature still slashed down- it didn't hit David, but the force of the impact made him have to dodge or else he would've been hurt. "Fuck!" The dirt he was writing the symbol on was blown by the impact, and subsequently, the symbol itself.
He was about to write it again when the Wendigo turned around and agrily attacked his brother- he had not time to write down the symbol at all, he had to do it right then and there! "Fuck- Please work!" He felt panicked already, panicked and afraid, the world seemed to slowdown as he said the words: "[Root Bind!]"
And then- "Holy shit!"

Wendigos: Worshippers of the God of Hunger and Flesh, originally humans but corrupted by the Curse of the Eternal Hunger which is considered a blessing by them. They think this blessing comes from their God... but it doesn't.
