Capítulo 38: XXXVII
Seeing her in a neat black suit with a few buttons loose and in a messy bun while holding a grocery plastic bag with cans of beer inside, it made Yui chuckle.
"Is there something on my face?" Dakota asked innocently pointing at her face.
"No silly!"
Yui laughed and closed the door.
If anyone saw her with such expression they would have mistaken her as an angel that descended from heaven. The feeling of welcoming Dakota inside a house made Yui's heart flutter, Dakota walked towards the couch and sat on it with her legs crossed and stretched her arms looking very exhausted. "Was work very tiring?" Yui asked it was already night and Dakota still in her work clothes, Yui could easily guessed that she just came from the company.
"Work was done earlier, I came from a dinner party and each of everyone's faces equals to a day work in the company" Dakota complained after holding back for so long. Yui only chuckled which made Dakota happy seeing her much better complexion and relaxed expression.
Yui came over and decided to massage Dakota's arms, often during work her arms would feel tired due to spending hours on her desk on the computer or signing documents that would hinder her working hours or make her feel irritable. Yui would massage Dakota's arms to refresh her, "Thanks for letting me stay" Yui suddenly brought up.
"I kind of feel bad that you are staying on an apartment and I'm staying on your house"
"This house is nothing but a property, I'm staying at an apartment because it's in the middle of the city and I didn't want to stay at a huge house alone so don't feel bad" Dakota reassured Yui, feeling her shoulders getting better.
Yui then sat down and Dakota offered her a canned beer sitting down like a proper lady with her legs slanted together she held the canned beer with both of her hands and stared at it. "Dakota you don't know how grateful I am, you know getting away from my family" tears escaped in her eyes and words barely came out of her mouth.
Dakota only smiled gently and wiped Yui's tears "I'll take care of you, sometimes when people can't take it anymore it's ok to cry or escape but running away won't solve the problem. Yui, I believe that you are strong and there will be a day that you will be able to face them head on!".
Yui smiled as she moved her face closer to Dakota's head, as the female lead she was expectedly bewitching but with her flustered face, teary doe eyes and a lovely innocent smile Dakota could not help but get captivated.
"Cough!*" she excused herself and retracted her hand.
[Female leads do have dangerous charms]
Dakota thought, although the charm Yui had was only enough to captivated Dakota's admiration not love. It was far different of what she felt towards Kannon which was deeper and akin to obsession.
"Well then let's eat!"
Dakota shifted the awkward atmosphere and dragged Yui to the table to eat dinner, she knew it wasn't healthy to be eating street foods and drinking beer at this time of the night but it was only occasionally and Dakota had to cleanse her palette from all the fancy yet disdainful course she had to shove in her throat.
Dakota originally planned to eat with Kannon but she had to give her the time to rest after seeing her so stressed and worn out with her project, it was also past late with Kannon's bedtime. Contrary to Kannon, Yui had seemed to be laxed despite with school and work in the company and she seems to be doing fine with things that does not relate her family. "Uhmmm...Dakota" Yui's low voice caught Dakota's attention while busily gulping down a can of a beer.
"Yeah??"
"I...I was...w-wondering if.what.t-type of person would..you..date?"
Yui's words caught Dakota off but thinking of Kannon, Dakota could not help but to speak out. "Someone cute even when mad that makes me want to tease her even more, and when she gets excited her eyes lit up like stars, I also prefer someone that would just let me spoil her.....uhhhhhh oh no!!"
Just realizing the situation Dakota was pulled back from reality only noticing how drunk Yui was with only finishing half of the can, she was also dead asleep on the couch with her head slightly leaning down and her hands were tightly clasping the beer. Even when drunk asleep she still had her proper posture when sitting down maintaining her elegance.
[I clearly told her to drink the juice I bought if she can't drink, I was also enamored with my thoughts about tomorrow to pay attention]
Dakota carried Yui to her room, and it was only then she noticed how light Yui is that it almost felt like she was carrying a child not an adult woman. Yui also had a thinner frame compared to average women in her stature it was a clear result of the forced diet her mother made her through. After gently laying Yui down in her bed and covering her with a blanket, Dakota slightly caressed Yui's head and pulled aside the thin hairs that was on her face.
"So how ready are you for today?" Dakota casually sat on the couch and pulled Kannon towards her. After a few days and a week of spending many sleepless nights and team work with finishing Kannon's final dress for her project the two's relationship began to get closer. It was obvious that Kannon was more open to Dakota than before and the their physical interactions had significantly increased.
"A little nervous, but I'm sure I can manage" Kannon replied with a smile on her pretty face.
"Even if your teacher doesn't approve of your design, there is always room for improvement and what really matters is you gave your best" Dakota added although she wasn't sure what words she was spouting out of her mouth since she was enamored staring at Kannon's face, and there was something rising in between her legs.
In a split of second there was a handprint across Dakota's straight face as she took the call in the corner of the room, while Kannon was gasping with her life while clenching her chest.
[What a damn smooth pervert!]
Kannon thought, she only then realized that she was sitting in Dakota's lap while being caressed on the waist and that Dakota's hand had made way under her shirt. Even after Dakota finished her call, Kannon was still cursing Dakota for being a shameless pervert and having an erection. Although after what happened today and the previous days' 'harassments' Kannon doesn't seem to hate it or even had the thought of leaving this place, simply being with Dakota was surprisingly sweet and felt being safeguarded.
[I can't be being influenced with her pervertedness!]
Kannon slapped her cheeks and thought in horror.
"Kannon, I'll be heading out!"
Hearing it Kannon immediately looked towards Dakota who was about to walk out of the door, "But-".
Even before she could finish Dakota had a smile on her face "Don't worry I'll drop by your school later!". Dakota left with a cheeky smirk and Kannon was left in the empty room with a flushed face, "Humph! Who cares even if she comes or not! I'll just get ready". Such a bold statement for Kannon whose face says otherwise.
