Capítulo 19: Stopping A Thicc Rock
[A Week Later, again.]
*Knock* *Knock*
Camden: "Come in" I said as the door opened and it revealed Genos. He greeted me like normally and entered my apartment with a briefcase in his hands. He laid it on the table that I was sitting in front of
Camden: "What's this Genos?" I asked, remembering something about the briefcase that Genos brought here to my apartment
Genos: "It's my new upgrade Sensei. Though it's still a work in progress, I decided to show it to you. These new parts are more durable than my current ones. I think you would be proud Sensei" He said as Genos pressed something on the very metal briefcase and it opened, forming and revealing two cyborg hands. It's not that pleasant to see since it was made up of metal or some super overpowered material that Dr Kuseno used. Probably because it hasn't been attached to Genos yet. Either way, this will help Genos a ton, and it's still a work in progress so there's a chance that this has some potential to make Genos a freaking dragon-Level threat with this prototype... Okay, I think that's a little bit exaggerating, but I think it's at least enough to take on a high demon level threat monster, at least. A perfect example would be... Deep-Sea King! If Genos doesn't let his guard down. Or *Cough* take an acid spit head-on from Deep Sea King...That went according to plan. Poor Genos
Camden: "It looks really good Genos. Can't wait for the other ones to get finished" I said, making Genos nod his head in appreciation. But I don't how it will play against the meteorite. Yes, I didn't forget about it, it's today that the big ass rock from somewhere in space will be headed here. I want to make sure that when I stop the meteor, It won't damage the civilians and other cities. It is in the requirements for my mission, after all. I will! Get Esper powers if it's the last god damn thing I do. Of course, with the help of my energy balls. I mean I could just serious punch it but it will not disintegrate it like how my energy balls do it. Small rocks will still fall onto the cities so that's a no go. But I want to use my balls full of energy for my reasons, and not yours and that's that
*Ring* *Ring*
Suddenly, a ring could be heard from Genos as he pulled his flip phone out of his pocket
Genos: "It seems the Hero Association needs me" He said to me and showed the Hero Association's text message to him 'I thought I will have a little more time, I guess there's nothing I could do now'
Camden: "If it requires you then it's probably important"
Genos: "Hai, I will now go then Sensei" He said and he pressed a button on one of the cyborg parts as it turned back to a metal briefcase and he left my apartment, but not before bowing to me
Camden: "I guess I gotta go get ready... Oh, who am I kidding. Just one more game THEN I will destroy the meteor" I said and grabbed one of the controllers for my PlayCo. and booted the thing up.

At the Hero Association with Genos.
"So, your Genos-kun huh?" Somebody said as Genos turned to look at his right side, making him surprised to see Silverfang, ranked 3 in the S-class
Bang: "Nice to meet you. My name is Bang" He introduced himself to him as Genos nodded 'Bang, S-class rank 3 Silver Fang. Did the Hero Association call him as well?' thought Genos, thinking that this is very important for someone like Silverfang to come here
Genos: "I was called in here by the Hero Association, and I assume that you got a call from them too?" He said, making Bang nod his head
Bang: "Everyone that works in the Hero Association is at the Headquarters. Where we are now is an empty office branch. All of the other S-class heroes also got a call, but unfortunately, we are the only ones that came"
Genos: "What's their reason for not showing up?"
Bang: "Too far away, or very busy. Some of the cold-blooded ones didn't give notice to it. Of course, the reason why we would be called is there is something impossible to deal with that only us S-class could do, but today is no exception. A dragon-Level threat is no joke. 35 minutes from here on out, a huge meteor will be headed directly to City Z. The Association asked if any S-class could do anything about it"
Genos: "A Meteor?!"
Bang: "Yes, apparently the big rock suddenly changed paths. It could mean the end for us"
Genos: "Do the people know about it?"
Bang: "I was told that they would estimate the impact and issued orders about the evacuation of the citizens 30 minutes before it hits" He said as he turned around, facing the same direction as Genos
Genos: "What about you old guy?"
Bang: " 'Old guy' huh. Call me Bang, my Dojo has been in our family for generations, I cannot simply abandon it" Bang said, Immediately turning around and showing a glimpse of his Fist of Flowing Water Crushing Rock, his very own martial arts
Bang: "Have you ever heard of this?" He said, though Genos was nowhere to be seen as he sighed
Bang: "I guess even the new S-class hero Genos-Kun can't respect their elders".

[User! 30 minutes left before the Meteor strikes.]
The system said through my head. Damn, I thought I just started playing a few minutes ago. Well whatever
Camden: "Thanks for informing me Chiaki" I said as I paused my game and stood up from my sleeping mattress and went towards my hero suit
[No problem User, but you have to hurry up.]
Camden: "Don't worry, let's not rush things shall we".

Genos: "It's too late to evacuate now, I didn't think I would test this prototype soon" Genos said as he was making his way towards the asteroid. Running and jumping through buildings to face the meteor head on
Genos: "I will not just sit here and wait for my death!" He said as he pressed a button on the metal briefcase, throwing it in front of him as it blasted off. The briefcase turned into two cyborg hands as it flew back to Genos, landing directly on his hands and replacing his current ones as he landed on top of a building
Genos: "Let's see if my Incinerate will be enough" He said as metal spikes invaded the sides of his face. Though suddenly, Metal Knight could be seen blasting into the sky towards Genos, landing at a building next to the demon cyborg
Genos: "S-class rank 7. You are Bofoi correct?"
Metal Knight "And your the new member, Genos. Came to stop the Meteor?"
Genos: "Yes, but I need your help, Bofoi"
Metal Knight: "I decline"
Genos: "Then why are you here?"
Metal Knight: "I came here just to examine my new weapon"
Genos: "But if the Meteor hits you'll be gone"
Metal Knight: "I will not. You are currently talking to a remote control drone. Sorry to say but my life is not at stake. Also, I am not Bofoi, call me Metal Knight. Heroes call each other by their hero names, not real ones. I thought you already knew, Genos. Though I think it's time to end our talk" He said as both of them looked up to see the Meteor vastly approaching. Genos seeing this moved to a taller place to launch his attack right on the thick ass rock, but not before Metal Knight did
Metal Knights: "Firing Missiles!" He said as about a dozen missiles were launched towards the Meteor, spiralling their way their
*Boom*
A massive explosion was created. Smoke could be seen around the area of the Meteorite 'Such destructive power, I'll have to be wary of him' Genos thought, noting to make sure he would write Metal Knight on his notebook, but the Meteor that size can't be destroyed that easily. And you are right as it cleared the smoke around the area, making the sky clear again as it started to head towards them a second time with no sign of stopping nor noticeable damage on it
Metal Knight: "Needs more potent huh" He said and left the scene while Genos prepared himself to take on the Meteor. He charged his core to the max in order to deliver a full-powered blast towards the thing, though was very hesitant at first about the situation he was in
"I suggest you concentrate hard instead of being hesitant" Bang said to Genos from behind, surprising him as he tilted his head slightly to see the old man
Bang: "You focused too much on failing the job rather than succeeding. If you tried to stop something but the results stay the same, then that means you did what you can. You did your best" He said, giving Genos a quick confidence boost as he refocused his attention back to the dragon-level threat. Tearing apart his blue hoodie and opening his chest plate up to unveil his charged up core. He grabbed it and opened up his left arm, placing the thing full of energy in his left arm as it immediately was filled with power. Electricity flowed around his cyborg body
Genos: "Bang! Get down!" He informed Bang but he didn't listen as he continued to stand still behind him
Genos: "I'll put everything Into this blast. Thank you for suggesting this name Sensei. Final Galick Rasengan Kamehameha!" He said as he pulled his left arm up towards the Meteor
*Boom"
Just by releasing Genos's blast, It created an explosion as it clashed with the Asteroid. Forming an intense shockwave around the area
Genos: "HAA!" He shouted like an intense dragon ball character would. Though suddenly, the Meteor was being pushed back, slowly but surely
Genos: "It's working!"
Bang: "It's getting pushed back!"
They both said in shock, but Genos's blast was slowly getting weaker and weaker as his core was starting to run out of charge
Genos: "I can't keep this up" Genos muttered as he stopped his attack, dropping to his knees as his cyborg body was pushed to the limits. A mass amount of steam and smoke was released out of his cyborg body 'I guess, this will be my funeral after all'
Camden: "Old man. Could you take care of Genos will ya?" I said as both of them looked behind them to see me with my hero suit on
Bang: "Who are you?"
Camden: "You see, I'm a man of culture. A hero so to speak"
Genos: "Sensei" Genos could only mutter those words as I raised my right arm, forming an energy ball with it
Bang: "What the?" He said as the energy ball that was floating in my hands, started to grow in size drastically. And a few moments later, a big energy ball that was half the size of the Meteorite could be seen in the sky
Camden: "Watch this" I said as I kneeled slightly and jumped. Making the roof of the building destroyed as I led the big blue ball towards the falling rock
*Boom!*
Bang: "This could finish the Meteor!" He said in awe as he watched the Energy ball clash with the Asteroid. And to finish it all off with a bang, well not really necessarily a bang. There's only one thing that I could say
Camden: "Vaporize" I said as the big round ball of danger dispersed and covered the Meteor whole. I landed on the ground a few seconds later. Bang and Genos could only just watch with their very own eyes. The Meteorite slowly started to shrink to nothing but dust
And as the "Dust" settled. A big pile of powder could be seen on the other side of the street from where we are
Camden: "I guess I'll go back now" I said and turned to where my apartment is, but not before hearing a Ding! in my head as I grinned like a maniac
