Capítulo 23: 23. Explanations.
"So, what the hell was that?" I ask the squirming vampire who looked quite ashamed but also a little pleased.
"I'm sorry, I've been having some problems lately and I didn't want to bring them up and it seemed it was much worse than I thought." she says while looking down.
"Explain." I demand.
She flinches slightly at my tone.
"My chakra doesn't restore naturally. The only way to restore it is to drink blood. However due to some blessings I have, that option is rather limited." She explains slightly.
"I'm going to need some more details so I can understand what's going on." I wave my hand for her to continue.
She squirms awkwardly. "Every vampire has a cursed blessing from the blood god. We improve drastically from drinking blood however we also empower the ones we drink from. You probably noticed that your body became stronger or an increased healing factor. That was my blessing working... However it also has adverse effect if the person isn't strong enough to handle the mutation. This adverse effect might be death, 100% of the time." She admits sheepishly. "Every person I've drank blood from is dead. Well except you.
I also may or may not have killed off nearly every bandit camp in 100 or so miles of Orario trying to restore my chakra."
I face palm. "And the loss of control?" I ask.
"The bandits give very little life force compared to how much I was using daily in training." She says. "Being an undead creature I don't produce my own life force. My body started to crave high quality life force to try to sustain itself and the highest quality blood and life force nearby just so happened to be..."
"Me, I got it." I sigh having narrowly missed a life and death situation. "So basically your body was starved of chakra, and it activated some kind of primal thing inside of you and then you proceeded to eat the highest quality of food near you in a blind hunger."
"This has never happened before." She admits.
"You didn't think to mention this to me so I could donate blood or something?" I ask.
"Blood donations don't work. I need live blood or it wont take."
"I see. Well you couldn't have you know? Warned me." I offer.
"I thought I had it under control. Apparently i was wrong, sorry." She says sadly.
I let out a sigh "Its fine, now explain this link I am feeling." I ask.
She squirms even more. "This is also a blessing. It's called the Blood Bond. I'll only be able to bond with 1 person, I'll also only be able to drink blood from you from now on. However you wont be harmed by this instead it has benefits. In exchange you get a link to me and can use some of my abilities such as blood control and increased regeneration. To us vampires it's kind of like a marriage blessing, however when you die it also means that I'll die since we are linked together."
I just gawk at her. "I'm not even 5 years old yet and your saying I have some kind of vampire marriage bond with you? My dangly bits dont even work yet." I havent even hit puberty.
"That's fine we can wait." She says calmly.
"And what about the opinion of the bonded person? What if I loved someone else or something?" I ask.
"As your wife it's fine, it's not uncommon for strong men to have a harem of concubine or lovers. It's a show of power!" She says happily. "As the first wife I'll have to make sure you don't have useless hussies taking advantage of you."
I just hold up my hand ready to complain but then stop. "You know what? I'm fine with this."
There are much worse things than being bonded with an extraordinarily beautiful vampire. Who is going to complain about having a tall pale blonde elfish looking supermodel married to them?
Long blonde hair, Ruby red eyes sparkling in happiness, c almost d cup breast showing slight pale cleavage, likes to wear gothic style dresses and stockings, maybe about 5 foot 6.
"Yeah I'm fine with this." I nod.
Valerie just looks amused as I scan her body even doing a few poses.
"You should probably call some workers to fix the mansion. Also you completely obliterated 5 of my paths beyond repair even with the hell king. So I only have Animal and Deva left." I tell her with a frown. Whatever magic she used turned them into little more than smears in a crater.
She looks a bit sheepish. "Don't worry darling I'll handle it. You should probably go wash up though."
I look down at my shredded clothes and blood covered body before shaking my head and taking off what remained of my shirt.
With Deva I can see the 4 long claw marks down my back from shoulder to hip. Along with a nasty bite on my side.
"Looks like I was mauled by a tiger. Atleast you didnt harm my face. This is my bread and butter after all." I chuckle before heading towards the bathroom as I feel sticky from caked on blood.
I grab some clothes from the gate and dump the remains of what I had on in the trash.
"Well perhaps I should start working on the lab, try and get some clones up and going so I can have adequate bodies to work with. Which means I'll have to do a little bit of studying and make up some nutrient and growth serums." I grumble as I turn on the shower and start scrubbing off dried blood.
Perfect time to work on my own personal base in the gate, also I should work on the Sharingan part of my eyes, if I had susanoo up and running I might not have been demolished as badly. Really screwed the pooch on this one. Seems I got a bit too complacent.
