It's been a good amount of time since the girls started their training and in that time, I've had to cycle through several groups to take them off-world to build on stamina. Whenever that's not happening, I spend my days in the inn doing my regular job, but that lasted only a short while before I suddenly needed to be an errand boy again. Yesterday my brother requested that I look for somewhere the girls can actually put their training to the test. In other words, find him a gig for Hololive.
According to him, the girls have gotten much better at singing and dancing and he wants to test their abilities when on an actual stage, so he asked me to organise a concert for them in the inn.
I said no.
I don't mind helping the girls, but the inn isn't an idol's stage it's full of middle-aged businessmen and women trying to get away from their offices, they're not gonna appreciate a couple of young women dancing and singing pop songs. Maybe some will, but if they're drinking the night away I might need to call the cops and I genuinely don't want that mess in my inn.
So I said no. Did that stop him? Nope, he begged me to get the girls a stage and I wondered when did he become their manager all of a sudden?
Anywho after hours of being egged on by Kai, I finally agreed to help with his little project. Just as long as he funds it.
He agreed, so today I spent the majority of my day going around other worlds to see if anyone was willing to host an idol party. Now apparently nobody even knew what an idol was so I had to go through the trouble of explaining that occupation.
I really shouldn't have been that surprised, entertainment in other worlds isn't as mainstream in comparison to Earth. People tend to make their own fun rather than rely on others for amusement.
Whatever the case was, I still needed to get the girls a stage and after about 20 different people, I finally managed to find one that would give the girls a chance. It's a small town but they needed something to liven up their celebration for the town's anniversary, which is a month or so away and they gladly accepted my offer. I told them the girls only knew songs from Earth but the townsfolk said they're more than happy to listen they'll just put some translate charms around the town so that everyone can communicate.
Well, it's not a massive international stage but really this is just a test for the girls. So it should be fine.
I told my findings to my siblings and they all agreed it was a good place to perform in, not too big so the girls won't get too nervous, but just important enough to give them that sense that they can't falter in their work.
The others decided it would be best to tell the girls as soon as possible that way they can start practice immediately. However, practising with a one-month deadline was going to be difficult, so I decided to offer them a place to practice without fear of the deadline.
I took them all on top of a mountain situated in a place where time slowed drastically in comparison to other worlds. There, one year equates to roughly one month on Earth, so they should have more than enough time or at least I hope so.
Anyways they told the girls about it and unsurprisingly they were shocked at first when news broke out that they only had a month but of course thanks to my proposal they were quite relieved.
I'm gonna be honest it's been a while since it was just me, Coco and Aloe, it'll be a lot more peaceful now that I won't have to worry about exploding buildings for a while.
I think.
Alright training's finished it's time to make the girls show off. It's a local Holofes in other words.
Anywho I don't have much to say this week, so I hope you all enjoyed this entry I'll see you all next week.
