POV Akari Nakano

"Are you both alright?" Shizuo asked worriedly with Nishikawa right behind her.

"Oh yeah I am.", But the culprit is not going to be. I added the last part in my mind.

"Did any of you two see who did it?" Shinji asked while looking somewhere behind Nishikawa.

"No. I am sorry. It was so sudden." Nishikawa apologized.

"It's fine. But Akari could have been really hurt just now. Shouldn't the person responsible at least apologize instead of running away." Shinji said a little loudly as if he was taunting someone.

"Yes. The least they could do is apologize. It could have hurt if the sharp end of the cone hit Nakano san in the head."

Shinji's fake tense expression twitched for a second on hearing Nishikawa's words. It seems he was hoping for this sort of response. But why?
