Hearing a text alert on my phone, I dug into my bag and saw the glow of the screen.

Kayden: Sis, I may live to regret this... but you've got yourself a drummer. I'll call you from the Cayman's when we land.

"Flynn," I called out, then remembered he was in the sound booth and couldn't hear me. I walked into the studio where the sound deck was and waved at him. Flynn stopped playing and wandered over to the heavy glass door, pulled it open and took his ear buds out.

"Kayden is in. He's going to be RedA's temporary drummer." Flynn grinned widely fist pumped the air and nodded, but before he could speak, Alison arrived at the studio door.
