Dom woke up to the sound of a door opening. He didn't know where he was at the moment, but all he saw was a white ceiling, a brown desk to his side, and he was laying in an unrecognizable bed.
He also saw the person who came through the brown slide-open door. It was a black-haired woman who was dressed in a white nurse uniform.
When she saw Naruto awake, a scowl appeared on her face. Her face was filled with hatred and disgust. If looks could kill, Dom would be dead thousand times over. Now, how many times how you heard that?
"They should've left you to die in that alley. You are nothing but a bastard demon!" The woman spat.
Dom looked at the woman curiously, then looked at he hands. They were the equivalent size to a child's. He then looked towards the window... He saw who was looking back at him and automatically knew why the woman hated him.
He was Naruto Uzumaki.
The woman then checked over him, reluctantly. After seeing that he was fine, she told him he was free to leave.
While she was still standing over Naruto, she spits on him, then smacked him in the face. Dom was a little surprised and confused. They didn't all that in the original. He soon realized he wasn't in the original. What else could be different?
"I'm not paying you for that," Naruto said as she walked out of the room.
Naruto could tell the woman was even angry by his remark. She knew what he meant by those words, but she restrained herself from going back into the room.
When she exited the room, the memories of Naruto entered his head. There was a slight burning sensation from receiving all the memories but once he looked through them, his face turned cold, and his eyes turned into an icy blue.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Naruto left the hospital, not before receiving nasty glares from mostly everyone in there. He made his way through the streets of the village.
"Look at the demon."
"No wonder he doesn't have parents. I wouldn't want to be the mother of a demon either."
The insults grew harsher the further he walked. A few people ever threw rocks or anything closest to them. Naruto walked with his head down, his hair shadowing his eyes if looking closely enough, a grin on his face was present.
Naruto looked up at the sun and estimated a few more hours of daylight. He would use that wisely, he knew he couldn't be weak. Not in this world.
Naruto made his way to the park and started to run at full speed. He ran for 22 minutes before dropping to his knees, breathing heavily. Soon after, Naruto stood up and did more bodyweight exercises until the street lights came on.
On his way to the orphanage, he was constantly called out his name, and things were thrown at him. He simply ignored the people which greatly angered them.
While he was walking back, he was pushed into a dark secluded area with a group of villagers. Naruto looked up to see them glaring into his soul.
Naruto did not fold under the eyes and pressure they were sent towards him.
"Look at him!" The frontman growled. " He must have forgotten what happened to him yesterday, why don't we jog his memory?"
Naruto heard snickers of the people who were looking down on him, he would let this go on until he had no use for them.
The group of villagers then beat Naruto until they were satisfied and left him in the alley. They noticed that he didn't scream or make a sound, not giving them the satisfaction of seeing him in pain.
After they left, he made his way back to the orphanage. They were just serving dinner, so Naruto got in line to get a plate. Once the workers saw Naruto, their faces turned into a scowl.
They served him the absolute bare minimum of food. Naruto didn't complain because he knew if he couldn't get food from here, he had to get his own food.
Naruto took a seat at an empty table. While he was eating, he heard the whispers of the children about how the caretaker told them to stay away from Naruto.
Naruto finished his food and went to his room. His room was depressing. There was nothing but a bed and a nightstand. Naruto didn't care about that though, what he was going to do he didn't need light.
Naruto sat down with his legs crossed and took out five leaves from his pocket. If Naruto knew anything, it was his chakra that wasn't something to be left unattended.
The first thing he needed to do was to have his chakra flowing freely through his body. He closed his eyes and focused on his stomach, trying to feel for foreign energy.
It took Naruto, three hours until he felt the warm feeling in his stomach. He kept his cool and began to circulate his chakra through his entire body. It only took him another ten minutes to finish the task.
Naruto then placed a leaf on his forehead and sent chakra towards it to make it stick. The first few times, he was unsuccessful in the exercise, but he continued until he got it to stick.
Still, even if it was only for a few seconds, he continued. Naruto progressively got better at leaf sticking, but his body and mind needed sleep.
