I have been thinking about Ocean and Makai a lot lately. Today is Ocean's birthday, and I saw Makai at the campus. He was taking a lessened schedule, but he was still doing in person classes while Ocean was not able to be here. He had talked to me a couple of times since the semester started, but he was on his way home and didn't have a lot of time to talk. I didn't blame him. Ocean was trapped at home, sick. He wasn't able to come to school or go anywhere else. He was stuck resting and staying safe.

I didn't really know what was going on with him, but I knew that he was sick. And that he started to get sick around five months ago.
