I admit, even I was nervous about how this meal was going to turn out. I wanted to make sure that it was good so that Hudson wasn't disappointed in me. But also, I wanted to make sure that my family didn't think that I was the worst person to have in the kitchen. I mean, I am capable of making small things on my own. And when I cook with Makai, we make some really good meals together. I am still entirely convinced that it is all because of my husband though, and not because I was there.

Now, let's just hope that the luck with cooking lasts while cooking with my father for the first time. He knew what to do here, and I sure as hell didn't. I didn't even know what we were cooking yet. He had worked that out with Makai in advance. Makai got the ingredients ready and I just got thrown in here like it was some new reality TV show called 'guess the dish' with your host Hudson Waters.
