Now that Hudson was here, it was time for the celebration and meeting to begin. I also knew that I needed to be strong and stay by his side the entire time. That was why I was the one to sprint toward the door and stop my siblings from opening the door. If I didn't get there first, then they were going to interrogate him right from the start.

"I GOT IT!" I yelled at them as I raced toward the door. I had moved a little too close to Splash while I was running too, and inadvertently scared the living daylights out of her. She hissed and went running out of the room even faster than I did.

"Slow down, Ocean. You're going to kill someone. Most likely yourself." Mom yelled at me.
