Third Person's POV
A knight was running away from a three-headed wolf.
"*Pant, pant* ahh!" He fell and sprained his ankles.
'Grrrr....'
"*Pant, pant* Someone help me!" He yelled at the top of his lungs, but no one came to help him.
'Grrrr....' The three-headed wolf rushed in his direction.
"Ahhhhhh!!!"
'Slash!'
"Are you alright?" Someone approached him and healed his ankles.
"Your highness!!" Knights arrived at the scene and fought the monsters.
"Protect the Crown prince!!" one knight yelled as they push forward and kill the remaining monsters.
'Slash! Slash!'
'Grrrrrr!!!!!'
'Slash! Slash!'
'Slash! Slash!'
'Sshhrriieekk!!!!'
'Eeeeekkkkkk!!'
Everyone covered their ears when a giant black mantis screamed. Suddenly, thousands of monsters appeared and attacked the groups.
"Take the injured back to the camp!" The Crown prince said.
"Yes!!"
"On your position!" Their commander yelled, and the knights followed his command and went into their positions.
'Ssshhhrrriiieeekkk!!!'
'Ssshhhiiieeekkk!!!'
"Charged!!!"
'Aaaaahhhhh!!!!'
They clashed their swords with the monsters.
"Your highness!!" The Count and the Princess came down, rushing toward the Crown prince.
"Reinforcements have arrived!!!" The knights and mages attack the remaining monsters.
"You're late," the crown prince said.
"I apologize for my lateness, your highness."
"It's fine, as long as we clear this place before midnight comes."
"Yes." Everyone moved and fought the monsters.
'Ccchhhiiieeekkk!!!'

'Aaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!'

'Ching! Ching! Ching! Ching!'
'Slash! Slash!'

Most of the knights were already at their limit.
"Commander!" a knight yelled when he saw an ugly monster attack the commander.
"Are you trying to kill yourself?" He killed the monster with a single hit, and its body was cut into pieces.
"...." The commander looked at him with a cold face.
"Aren't you going to say thanks?" He smiled while cleaning his sword, which was drenched with green blood. The commander just nodded and left.
"Geez... you're coldhearted as ever," he said, helping the other knights that were struggling.
"What's the situation right now?" Imperial Crown Prince Reeve said.
"We've lost thousands of soldiers, your highness." Grand Duke Vulwin said.
"And our defence right now is already falling," the grand duke's son, Silve said.
Vulwin Larrel Venreith is the only Grand Duke of Sylthana. His older brother inherited the throne and became the Emperor of Sylthana. And he inherited his mother's, the late Empress Radelia Arasne Venrieth Sylthana's duchy, the Venreith.
"Your highness, Crown Prince Lucas, Princess Rhyne, and the others have arrived," one knight said. The crown prince, princess, and the others entered.
"How was it?" The imperial crown prince said. They shook their heads and sighed.
"We cleared the area, but after an hour, they regrouped and attacked us," the Crown Prince said.
"We don't have any healing potions left, and we already lost thousands of soldiers," the princess said.
"Count Lysanthir." The Crown prince called, and the Count lowered his head.
"Yes, your highness." He spoke.
"You..."
"Pardon my intrusion, your highnesses." The commander appeared with his calm demeanor.
"What is it, Commander?" Duke Ravana said.
"Right now, the enemy went all in on attacking, and they are moving faster than usual." Everyone is stressed out already. They haven't recovered from their recent attack, and now they are attacking again.
"*Clears throats* your highnesses, if I may," the Count said and everyone looked at him.
"What is it?" the Crown prince asked.
"If the enemies are going all out to attack us.... then why not attack them with all force?" the Count said, and everyone went silent.
"Are you out of your mind, Count Lysanthir? If we do that, thousand...." Duke Vulwin was cut off.
"I know, but please trust me, your highnesses." The Count pleads with his might.
"Trust? *Chuckle,* How can we trust you when you defended that cloak guy, and now you want me to trust you? Ha!" The Crown prince said with a cold voice and glared at him.
"He's right, your highness." The princess stepped forward and everyone looked at her.
"Right now, the count has the power to stop the enemies from attacking." The princess glanced at the Count before she continued. She showed everyone the crystal.
"This crystal has a maximum lifespan of 150 years, yet it can confine all monsters back upon the Disas continent. Additionally, since some creatures may attempt to breach the barrier, we need a magician who can control the crystal." No one can even utter to speak when the Princess explains the full details.
"I see...." Grand Duke Vulwin said.
"So please, trust me this time, your highness." The Crown prince exhaled deeply and pushed his hair back as the Count and his son, Killian, both bent down.
"Fine, I will let you off this time," the Crown prince said with a serious voice.
Gathering all the soldiers, they launched an assault on the beasts. To keep the monsters off their continent, everyone cooperated. The crystal was hovering in the middle of the circle performed by the wizards. To ensure that no one could stop the magicians from doing what they were doing, the Princess erected a barrier.
"Your highnesses! The seal is nearly done!" The princess yelled and everyone went all out to protect them.
'Slash! Slash! Slash! Slash!'
'Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!'
'Eeeeeeeiiiiiiikkkkkkk!!!!!!!'
'Slash! Slash! Slash! Slash!'
'Ssssssshhhhhhhrrrrrrrriiiiiiieeeeeee!!!!!!!'
'Slash! Slash! Slash! Slash!'
"*Slash! * You have to hurry, Princess!" The duke's son, Zain, yelled while slaughtering the monsters that went near the mage's barrier.
"Five minutes left!" The princess replied as the crystal was glowing and floated high up the sky.
Just like the count and the princess suggested, they went all force and slaughtered the monsters.
"Four minutes!" The Princess said.
"Zain! Behind you!" The Crown prince yelled when he saw a monster behind the duke's son.
Three minutes.
"Zain!" the duke also yelled. When the Duke's son looked behind him, a big black ant appeared.
'Ssssssshhhhhhhrrrrrriiiiiiieeeeeekkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!'
"Zain!" the duke yelled again.
'Slash!' The ant was cut in half.
"You alright?"
"*Chuckle* I knew you would come and save me, Killian," the duke's son said.
One minute.
"*Smile* Of course, because I'm your friend," he said giving him a hand to help him stand.
The duke sighed in relief when he saw his son was fine.
"Thirty seconds!" The princess yelled.
