Percy's morning classes were a blur because he really wanted to talk to Dr. Goldman about looking at his teleseismometer data. He hadn't taken any classes from him in a while now that he was into more specific astrophysics courses as a senior but they did have a few riveting discussions about geophysics now and then during office hours.
He hoped that their rapport would be a positive factor in convincing him to help. Phrasing it the right way would be crucial.
Percy knocked on the door of his office but there was another student inside so he had to wait about twenty minutes. He idly wondered how Penelope was doing on her first day at the call center but figured she should be okay because she had gotten through her other job fine.
She picked things up quickly. As long as she followed other people's leads, she should be able to muddle through for now.
