Hans, who was quietly sitting beside Freya, bolted up from his seat and faced Peterson Hilt. He looked as stiff as a robot when he politely bowed his head in respect to the old man.

"Sir, this student humbly greets you a good morning." He said, sounding like a military officer.

Chess tilted his head to the side, giving Hans a short glance, before returning his eyes on Peterson Hilt. And because Hans already started it, the three of them also had to push themselves up their seats and greet the old man in the same way.

Angela quietly watched Chess while their heads were lowered. Then, she met his eyes.

Chess only gave her a sweet smile before sitting back down. Just with that look, she already realized that there's something going on.

As Chess settled back down, he parted his lips and started speaking.

"Sir, thank you for this wonderful trip. We really appreciate it." He said.
