“Your Majesty, it is inappropriate.” She covered her mouth with her other hand while her head turned around, scared of being watched.

Nicholas laughed and planted another kiss on the back of her hand. He finally let her hand go. Isabella slowly took the hand away and quickly covered it with her other hand. Her eyes to embarrassed to look him directly in the eye. She was trying to look at anything else in the room. Nicholas smiled as he stood in front of her.

“Empress, I wish you would address me with my name instead of my title.” Isabella could not bring out the words from her mouth.

She was scared, but slowly she opened her mouth.

“But your Majesty, it is improper etiquette to call a husband with his …….” Nicholas raised his hand and grabbed her shoulders.

He leaned forward slowly and planted a peck on her head.

“There should not be any rule against a wife calling her husband.” Isabella felt her eyes broaden as she watched the man before her.
