Esme knew her words were not making sense and it was childish of her to act this way. But she could not help it as she was babbling her innermost thoughts aloud like this. Perhaps the wine was taking effect already?

''Luciana,'' he corrected her, "...Not Culiana."

She raised her head from his neck and rolled to the side, getting off his body. She glared at him, ''Is that the only thing you heard? Is her name so pleasant that you can't get it off your mind?" I messed up her name on purpose. Yes, I am that petty. 

''Hmm... sounds like a nice name.'' 

She looked at him in disbelief, ''You are a jerk!" 

''Why? Are you jealous?" 

''Can't you see that?" She looked at him with limpid eyes, ''It bothers me so much when I imagine you with someone else. It must be because of your indecent actions towards me that I have started letting my mind run wild...mmmph...''
