Capítulo 114: GOLDEN EYES

Countess Lauren was pacing back and forth to one of the parlor rooms of the Duke's mansion. Then, she stopped as she looked back at the people inside the room particularly at her son, Salis.

"Is that what really happened?!"

"Yes…"

"Unbelievable…!"

Austin swept his hair as he heard Salis' story then mumbled to himself.

"So, I really didn't see it wrong before…"

"What? Did you say something, Sir Austin?" Countess Lauren asked.

"Oh, it's nothing. Just nothing…"

Austin thought that it's better to hide what he learned first and report it to the Duke when he comes back.

He thought it would be better for His Grace to judge the situation himself.

Hugh received a telegram from the Capital, His brows and forehead were crumpled as he saw the contents.

"Damnit!"

"Did something happen, Commander?"

Mike cautiously asked, curious as to what happened.
