Capítulo 88: I will protect my loved ones

THE AIR AROUND THEM FEELS A LITTLE WARM AND AUBREY LOOKS UP TO SEE THE CITY LIGHTS. She gasps when she notices they are no longer in the office building but back on the streets with people walking around them.

It has been just a second ago Kai pushed that man out of the building and Aubrey cannot get the image out of her head. She tries to take in deep, calming breaths but it still doesn't help considering that she is standing beside the killer. The man's screams could be heard in the office as he fell down several floors. It makes Aubrey sick that the voice started to get faint the closer he got to the ground and at the end, his body fell on a company truck that was transporting goods to another location.

The worst— Kai seems completely fine and unfazed by it.

"Take a look at—" He tries to point Aubrey to something but she snaps.
