The change in the Tree of Life triggered a chain reaction in the entire Nightsky Forest.
"Hmm, why do I feel that the magical elements in the world are richer than before?"
"I feel that my neck has loosened up. Can you feel it? The Nightsky Forest has changed."
"The genesis flowers actually bloomed. These flowers haven't bloomed in the Nightsky Forest for hundreds of years. Oh Forest God, who can tell me what happened?"
Just as the elven Queen had said, the Ancient Tree of Life was closely related to the fate of the elves.
Because of the recovery of its original power, many strange flowers and fruits that have disappeared or have never appeared before popped up once more.
The problem that interfered with the elves' fertility also miraculously disappeared.
Even the magic elements that dissipated were rapidly recovering.
Sensing the changes in the elves, the elven Queen's eyes became moist. "I've been waiting for this day for so many years. In the end, the Forest God watched over us elves."
However, the elven Queen did not know that this was not the forest God's blessing, but Chris' doing instead.
If she knew, she would not know how to feel about that.
...
Time flew by, and in the blink of an eye, half a year had passed.
The news of the Forest God's miracle and the Ancient Tree of life's recovery had already spread throughout the night forest.
The elven families were cheering and jumping with joy.
Whenever they met, they could not help but praise the greatness of the Forest God.
Chris acted as if he had nothing to do with it, so he simply browsed through the ancient books.
These books were the fruits of the elven Queen and elders' hard work, and they were very helpful in comprehending magic.
But what made Chris feel strange was that Robert had disappeared all of sudden and he was nowhere to be seen for a few days.
Just as he was leaving, Robert walked over with a smile and said, "Chris, I'll leave the Ancient Tree of Knowledge to you. I have a new mission assigned to me."
"A new mission?" Chris was slightly surprised.
"These few days, the Queen has gathered many adult elves and asked me to head to the Ancient Tree of life to select 100 druid warriors."
As Robert said that, his eyes were filled with fighting spirit. As long as they could train an army of Druid warriors, their race would become even stronger.
Although it wasn't comparable to the elven empire from a thousand years ago, this was a good start.
Now, they were finally going to take that step forward.
"Druid warriors?"
Chris frowned and said, "Don't druids sign soul contracts? Even if there were a hundred clansmen, there wouldn't be so many druid descendants!"
Robert the old elf smiled mysteriously at Chris' question.
"You don't know about this entirely, but you're not wrong either, the Queen and the elders have just given you access to the top level of the Ancient Tree of Knowledge. I don't think you've finished reading the books inside!"
Ever since the Ancient Tree of Life blessed them with a "miracle", Chris's identity as the Messenger of God had been set in stone.
His reputation in the elf race had also risen, giving him access to all sorts of authority.
"Without the ancient contract and the legacy of the previous generation of druids, it is indeed impossible to become a glorious druid warrior. However, don't forget that the Ancient Tree of life is the birthplace of Druid warriors.
"Ever since you triggered the miracle of the Forest God, the power of the Ancient Tree of Life has been recovering every day.
"Now, the power of nature inside has already reached the size of an adult elf's fist.
"We can definitely train a batch of outstanding Druid Warriors."
If not for the Elven Queen's concern that the Source of Life had just been restored and should not be used too much, we would be choosing more than just a hundred people.
As Robert spoke, he suddenly thought of something and winked at Chris. "By the way, I just met Elder Norton. He told me that there will be a mysterious guest visiting us in the afternoon.
"I'm sure that you will be interested."
Chris was slightly stunned. A mysterious guest?
He had known Robert for so long, so he knew very well that although this old man had a strange attitude, he was not a person who spoke without thinking.
Since Robert said so, it meant that this guest who was about to arrive had an extraordinary identity.
"Could he be an emissary from the Ten Great Kingdoms or the Orc Kingdom?"
After bidding farewell to Robert, Chris continued reading inside the Ancient Tree of Knowledge until the evening when he was about to return to the treehouse.
Suddenly, a wild and brutish voice from afar attracted his attention.
"Old Norton, the fruit wine of your elf race is still as light as before. Why don't you try our blazing elixir? This is what men should be drinking."
"Hill Dwarves?"Chris'eyes flashed.
He had been in this world for so long, but he had never seen what the dwarves in this world looked like.
Driven by curiosity, Chris followed the source of the sound. But soon, he was dumbfounded.
"So this is a hill dwarf?"
Chris was stunned. In front of him, a "dwarf" full of swole and muscle held a wine jar with both hands and gulping down wine.
The reason why he was called a dwarf was that he was too fat. His height and weight were completely out of proportion.
Even though he was more than three meters tall, his height was outsized by the millstone-sized muscles on his body.
"Little elf, the way you're looking at me, do you want to taste the strong wine in my hand?"
As he guffawed while looking skyward, Bronzebeard was already striding towards Chris.
All of a sudden, Chris felt the earth around him shaking.
"Come, take a huge sip. It will definitely make you feel real good, just like the blessing of the Forest God."
Looking at the wine jar that the big guy handed over, Chris could only smell the fragrance of the wine wafting towards him. It was a little like the cocktail from his previous life.
Chris remembered the feeling of drinking wine while eating a mouthful of roasted meat when he was on Earth with his friends.
As he watched Chris take the blazing elixir from Bronzebeard's hand, Elder Norton turned pale with fright. Just as he was about to stop him, Chris had already started gulping down large mouthfuls of wine, pouring everything into his mouth.
"Ah..."
Chris burped, his eyes full of satisfaction.
Bronzebeard's eyes glimmered when he saw Chris' gusto. The wine jar that he handed to Chris weighed at least 50-60 pounds.
He didn't expect Chris to take his wine jar just like that. What surprised him more was that the elves who usually could not handle alcohol actually had an unusual person like Chris who liked strong booze.
"Good job, little brother. You're the zestiest elf I've ever met. I'll definitely call you my brother."
Bronzebeard laughed loudly as he slapped Chris' back with his giant hand.
The force was so strong that it almost knocked all the blazing out of Chris that he had just drunk.
