"Strange? What do you mean, doc?" Vla furrowed her brows.

The doctor then continued, "Miss Biserka doesn't want to make a sound at all or say anything. My medical team has also repeatedly asked Miss Biserka about her condition since she just woke up from her comma, but until now, Miss Biserka hasn't wanted to talk. Vla smiled back and escorted the doctor out of her room.

When Vla just finished dropping off the doctor, Vla's smartphone rang just as the doctor left her office.

"Who else contacted me at a time like this?!"

Before picking up the call that kept ringing on her smartphone, Vla took the time to read the caller's name. "Kael? What does he want with call me right now?" she said inwardly. Then she picked up the phone.

"Hello? What's wrong, Kael? Talking fast. I'm busy." Vla said as she closed the door and went to the medical room where Biserka was.

"Relax, Miss Vla. Don't be in a hurry, princess of the Canossa family," said Kael in the call.

Vla was still walking towards the medical room where Biserka was, "Hurry up and tell me what you need, or I'll hang up immediately! You're wasting my time, Kael!" Vla hissed in annoyance.

And now, she had arrived in front of the room where Biserka was being treated.

"Ah okay … well, there's something I want to talk to you about, but I can't say over the phone," said Kael, who finally told his purpose of calling Vla.

"About what? I'm currently in Shanghai accompanying Mataya on business." Vla answered while occasionally looking at Biserka through the gap in the glass door of the room.

"Secret. Well, I happened to be in Shanghai too. I'll be there to see you soon."

Vla furrowed her brows, "You're also in Shanghai? What business are you doing here? That's very suspicious. Why didn't you tell me?"

"It is … I haven't had time to contact you because my family's business has been hectic lately, hehe. I'm sorry, babe." Kael said while looking for an excuse.

Vla smirked at Kael's pleading words to him, and then she remembered what the doctor had said earlier about Biserka, who needed a psychologist for her psychological healing. "Well, if you want to make amends to me. I want you —"

Kael cut off Vla's unfinished words, "For sure, bae, I'm yours."

"Fuck you, asshole! I haven't finished my sentence yet! What I'm trying to say is I want you to be a consultant to Biserka, damn it!" Vla hissed in annoyance.

"Huh? Become a consultant for Biserka? No, I don't want to. Besides, it's been a long time since I opened practice and therapy as a consultant or psychologist. You can look for another consultant, yeah, babe?" Kael refused Vla's request for the first time because he was terrified to deal with Mataya, Biserka's twin, which could be cruel at any time.

Vla bent her mouth and rolled her eyes lazily before finally blabbering herself, "Tch, if you can't be of use to me, then don't be my partner in the future."

Vla then entered the medical room where Biserka was being treated and approached Biserka to check on her condition. She wanted to make sure with her own eyes Biserka's condition was in line with what the doctor had said in her room earlier.
