Capítulo 80: EZ'S WAKE UP CALL

I could tell that it was definitely late morning when I woke up. At first it was hard to figure out what it was that had woken me. Then I heard the incessant buzzing of my phone on the bedside table. My phone was ringing.

Just as I reached for it the buzzing stopped. I leaned over and picked it up just as it started buzzing again almost immediately. I saw that it was EZ. Why was he calling me so early? Unless he had a reason to be up he usually slept until past noon.

I answered the phone just before it stopped buzzing again.

"Hey, EZ."

"Don't you hey me you horrible, horrible woman." I could hear that he was extremely angry but I didn't know why.

"What's wrong? Why are you so mad?"

"Why am I so mad?" I heard him take a few deep breaths. "Why am I so mad?" He emphasized it this time. "I am not just mad Jacy, I am rightgeously fucking pissed off at you."
