Raven was completely silent on their way to the imperial palace, while Mana quickly briefed Head Sage Yue about Rei and the list he would share with them the next day.

"Well done, Mana," Head Sage Yue praised.

Mana simply smiled in response.

Once they reached the imperial palace, Head Sage Yue quickly sent off Regent Prince Yuki, Raven and Mana to their rooms to rest as soon as they arrived. The three of them were scheduled to travel tomorrow, and they needed to get some sleep.

Mana could sense that Raven was feeling uneasy, but she didn't know why. Had something happened while she was speaking with Rei?

"Is something wrong?" Mana asked Raven softly as they walked towards their quarters.

Raven hesitated for a moment, then shook his head.

"Mommy, there was this girl at the Lotus Institute who kept trying to get close to Daddy," Vyom spoke up. "I didn't like her smell at all!"
