Dinner proceeded much smoother than lunch, with the room settling into a calmer atmosphere. The tension between the witches and werewolves, while still present, seemed to have faded somewhat. The hostile glares had lessened, the shoulders weren't as stiff, and the mood around the table no longer felt like an impending clash. Rosalia stood near the edge of the room, her sharp eyes taking everything in with a sense of relief.
She watched the werewolves closely. They were quieter now, their usual rowdy behavior toned down, perhaps still reeling from Akashi's earlier confrontation. Even if they weren't fully comfortable, their restlessness had diminished. The witches, though they still kept their distance, were visibly more relaxed. Although the two groups weren't conversing, the tension had diminished significantly. It was progress.
Akashi walked over to her, and Rosalia exhaled slightly, feeling a small sense of accomplishment. She nodded towards the scene before them.
