The Cermesi was over hours back but Fang was still waiting here. It was better distraction to stay between the snakes then go back to the village. Over it all he indulge himself in drinking for the feeling in his heart continued to twist his feelings.
Selene was not in a good shape and Fang was well aware.
Nevertheless, he wanted to stand true to his words this time around. Selene had been very specific and had asked for ten days from him. Of all the people in Selene's life, Fang had never been the one to consider her weak. Even when her Alpha was dormant and her barely controllable. Fang saw Channing approach from the corner of his eyes.
"How much have you drunk!" Channing exclaimed looking at the four empty bottles of hard liquor with the five halfway done.
Fang twirled the drink in his glass, "I am not drunk yet."
