December 3rd
The next morning, I woke surprisingly early with an overpowering scent of bacon in the air. I didn't have much trouble getting out of bed and heading straight for it.
Leo was in the kitchen, stood shirtless over the sizzling stove. He grinned widely as he saw me and I wrapped my arms around his waist as he plated up the food before he handed me a beautiful plate of bacon, eggs and toast a few minutes later.
"Buon appetito."
"Grazie mio amore."
After breakfast, I began to feel the urge to sleep again. Pregnancy was exhausting and every day we got closer to the birth, it drained me even more.
Just as I was settling back into bed for a nap, Leo came in.
"I'm going to the base in about half an hour so I won't be here when you wake. Luca is... Luca, and Mateo is busy comforting Allison so I'm afraid you're stuck with Marco and Carlos," Leo said. "I think they've just about sobered up from last night."
