Capítulo 52: The New Student

My weekend goes by normally. Ari FaceTimed me on Saturday night to tell me all about her date with Nolan and apologized for interrupting my own date with Aiden. Even though I told her it was just dinner with his family, she kept insisting it's a date.

"Thea, come on! We're going to be late. I've been waiting for you for the past 10 minutes." Ari hollers up into my room.

I let out a groan and start brushing my hair even faster as pain kept shooting from my lower abdomen. Today is certainly not my day. First, my alarm didn't go off, or it probably did, and I shut it off. Who knows? Then, Uncle Daniel came up to my room about 15 minutes ago when he didn't see me come down for breakfast.

I ran to the bathroom only to see that it was that time of the month. I puked my guts out when I saw the blood, which took most of my time. Usually, I wake up early to take care of myself since I know I have an irritational fear of blood.
