Capítulo 41: Deathbringer
Like Piwood's advice, without much effort, the Sword had been pulled out by Lucia. And the pitch-black Aura that covered the Dark Forest gradually disappeared.
The moonlight slowly began to penetrate the black auras that started to fade and shine again, illuminating the forest, which had been dark for a while.
"Where should this sword be?" Lucia was confused about where to put a sword that was the same length as her height.
"Imaginary Storage!" Not much different from the way his eye Skill activates. Using Imaginary Storage was relatively easy because he only needed to name the skill.
After mentioning the skill, a crack in the air suddenly appeared beside Evan. It slowly opened to form a gap connected to the dark purple room.
"Just throw it here." Evan, who was worried that the gap would close soon, asked Lucia to just let it go.
With both her hands, Lucia threw the cursed Sword into the dimensional gap. And after the sword entered the deep purple room, the gap closed and disappeared.
"Phew! It's finally over. Time for us to go back-...W-wait... W-what's going on here?!!" Evan sighed for a moment before he was surprised to see the difference around him.
Evan still remembered arriving at the Abyssal Rift, where it was surrounded by large, lush trees.
But when he opened his eyes even wider to see the present Dark forest. His eyes widened after seeing the forest had turned into a barren land with rows of trees as high as 20 meters had dried up.
There were no leaves left on the branches. All of them had fallen and covered the barren land with dry brown leaves.
There was no one Evan could blame but himself for carelessly using the True Dragon King's Equipment.
"AHHH!!... What have I done." Evan still couldn't believe that he had turned the Dark Forest into a desert without living plants.
This was terrible, even though Evan didn't channel his Mana into the Cursed Sword at all, but the impact it had was far too broad than he expected.
Even though Evan just wanted to relax because the Abyss Dominator and Abyss Monster problems were over. Now Evan's tired mind had to work even harder to solve this new problem.
He wasn't sure how much damage the forest had caused, but Evan hoped the damage he caused would only cover the deepest parts of the Dark Forest.
If the damage reached over 80% of the forest, it couldn't be denied. This damage would be Evan's first Genocide after turning into a Tiny Dragon.
"Piwood! How much damage was caused by the Cursed Sword?" Evan panicked a little and immediately asked Piwood, who had plant magic, to find out.
Before carrying out Evan's orders, Piwood first regenerated his two hands.
Evan was a little impressed by how Piwood's hands grew like roots growing and turning into hands. But that wasn't what Evan had to think about right now.
"Okay, My King." Piwood immediately closed his eyes and began an investigation.
After Piwood used his magic to examine the plant life in the Dark Forest, he was surprised by the results he saw.
"How Piwood? Is the damage over 80%?" When Piwood opened his eyes, Evan immediately asked the thing that stuck in his heart.
"I didn't think the impact would be this great." Piwood's expression was awestruck and it was the exact opposite of Evan's worries.
Piwood's expression looked happy and amazed, but his mouth said terrible. Piwood's different point of view, who always worshiped the True Dragon King, made Evan a little confused about what was really going on.
"So what really happened?"
"Dark Forest's damage reaches 100%." Piwood was still amazed at what Evan had done.
"On-one-hundred percent!?" It was beyond Evan's expectations, and he had committed the Genocide in the Dark Forest.
'Gosh, my head is a little dizzy. This sword is truly terrifying! What is this sword!?' Evan staggered a little at the bad news in his ears, and it was good news for Piwood.
Evan immediately opened the Imaginary Storage window in his vision to see the status of the sword, which he had not had time to check before.

'W-What the hell is this OP's weapon?? L-level 180!? This doesn't make sense...' Evan's mind had a hard time accepting the fact that he had just used an Almighty Grade Artifact carelessly.
No wonder the sword's power covered 100% of the Dark Forest. But Evan felt that it wasn't the Deathbringer Sword's actual ability because he hadn't put his magic energy into the sword yet.
"My King I found a lot of corpses lying around." Using the telescope's eye, Lucia pointed at several areas.
"Ah, don't worry they're just corpses taken over by the Abyss Monster." Lucian slowly started to wake up from his stupor. It took a few minutes for the Prince of Darkness to restore his Health Points and Mana Points to a safe limit.
"Uwaa, why can corpses talk??" Lucia, who thought Lucian was fainting, was surprised when he suddenly spoke.
"I'm not dead, you know!" Lucian immediately answered Lucia's taunt with a bit of annoyance.
In the deepest forest area, Lucian has almost taken over. So it's no wonder that after the Cursed Sword's power was activated, all of his Abyss Monsters which were magical energy, also disappeared. And leaving only the corpses that the Abyss Monster controlled.
Evan was a little relieved that the creatures that died weren't due to the power of the Cursed Sword. However, he was worried about the safety of the monsters living in Darkness Castle and the food sources in the forest.
Without waiting any longer, Evan immediately gave orders to return to the castle.
And Evan also gave punishment to Lucian to properly bury all the creatures he had killed.
Evan, Lucia, Piwood, Lucian, and the Abyss Monster troop headed for Darkness Castle.
