Capítulo 48: Dark beasts
Seraphine, fatty were walking for several hours so far and yet they had not come upon any sort of indication that they were getting out of here
Undine on the other hand was floating, she didn't feel tired at all! Not even a bit! " ah I get to spend time with master" she thought
As they walked through the maze they kept encountering dark beasts the place they had been before had a boar beast while the path they were walking in now had dark cheetahs
These beasts in specific were not easy to deal with, they were extremely fast on their feet and stealthy albeit not as powerful as the boars strength yet these cheetahs could still pack quite a punch
Whoosh*
" DAMNIT! I heard another one,
BE CAREFUL" Seraphine exclaimed
This might have been the third dark cheetah they had encountered so far while walking on this path
The dark cheetah that had come out of stealth was stunned to find out that his prey had already found out that he was there, hence he no longer delayed attacking his chosen prey
Unfortunately for him...
He chose the worst prey
Undine who was floating suddenly noticed a flash come right at her, annoyed by such a thing undine sent a water slash at the dark beast that dared to prey on her
Swish*
The dark beast was immediately cut by the water slash on his shoulder and was severely injured, the cheetah retreated and changed prey
The cheetah wanted to go into stealth and hide again waiting for his chance to attack them
But before he could Seraphine immediately attacked the dark cheetah with fire claws and aimed at his already injured shoulder
The fire claws of the cute baby fox drove themselves deeply into the cheetahs injured shoulder nearly ripping the entire bone out
The dark cheetah was frightened, he used his high speed immediately to put some space before the terrifyingly cute baby fox that he had deemed harmless before.
But yet again before he could create space between them Seraphine had conjured up the fire light chain and flung it at him
The cheetah was caught and wrapped up in the glimmery chain but once they came into contact with his skin, those chains immediately embedded themselves to him and burn him slowly.
Until finally not even a few seconds later the dark beast that had attacked them was Ash
" yikes" Seraphine said outloud
" it seems we shouldn't use the chain unless we have ingrained vendetta against the other, plus... Our food got burned to Ash!!" Seraphine said sadly as her head drooped thinking about how she had let the cheetah turn to Ash
"sigh" atleast she had the intact meat packs of the other two cheetahs they met along the way
" let's change paths" Seraphine said
They had been walking on this path for who knows how long while ignoring the other pathways they had come across
They all started walking and floating when finally they had reached a cross way
"hmm right or left?" Seraphine said
"right!" fatty said as he thought that right was always right
" left" undine said as she felt that someone had to contradict fatty's stupidity
Seraphine couldn't choose at all well actually she wanted to choose undines option but then wouldn't she be an unfair master to them both of she had too much favouritism for only undine?
Hence Seraphine decided to do the only sane thing a pers- baby fox could do in this sort of situation.
" have you ever heard of rock paper scissor?" she asked them both as she smiled
"But then again this wasn't exactly something one would call a normal situation hehehe " she thought
Fatty and undine who were asked such a question could only blink in response
" we know what a rock is!" they thought
