"You are here again, boy."
Anubis greeted me as soon as I opened my eyes. Seeing his feral yet gentle smile, I couldn't feel but be at ease.
"So I can meet you if I wish to?"
I asked as I stood up. The jackal statues around me nodded, as if acknowledging me.
"Yes, you are my child after all."
Anubis laughed and turned around.
"Come, follow me. This hall can not be the best place to talk "
I followed behind him as we walked through the brightly lit corridor filled with statues.
Soon, we reached the other end of the temple and entered an open grassy plain. I looked around me, taking in the breathtaking scenery.
For as far as I can see, green, lustrous grass covered the land. The sky was cloudy yet bright, a combination I hadn't seen before.
In the middle of those vast lands, stood a small shade made of white marble. And inside that beautiful shade was a table and two chairs.
"What is this place?"
