"So tell me, what was this that you guys did, Nikolai?" Jill asked, while she gently bit on her piece of bread. She knew there were so many things happening to their little sister and she wanted to know how to protect her.

Jill had sworn that no one would ever be able to hurt Lia. Whoever tried, she would make them regret their births, and she was truly good at doing that. Maybe this time, she was ready to face the world openly, for her sister.

Jill knew no one would care too much about a broken Jillian James, but everyone cared about Lia, and she couldn't exactly blame them.

When Jill spoke up, Nikolai wasn't sure it was a good idea to share their business with the young James, but then they were all family. However, he knew he had to wait for his boss to give him the consent to share the news he got with them.

"Go on," Lia said, and Nik let out a subconscious sigh.
