"Jillian, you can go home, your sister's birthday is tomorrow, you can take the day off," Master Yen had told her a little too excitedly, and she had agreed, with the same excitement Master Yen had shown.

"Yes sir, we're even going to Disneyland. My little sister loves it so much and papa said he would take us there. I think we'll be taking the flight, but we'll have to depart as early as eight in the morning. No one wants to piss off my little sister. Anyway, I'm off, thanks!!"

That should have been the first sign. 

That would have been their hint, but they had been too stupid, too cowardly to even face her.
