The police came in the afternoon to get their testimonies.

It was a simple question and answer portion that Amethyst was able to answer without difficulties.

And towards the end she told the police that she will file a case to the man who shot Emerald but she won't pursue the matter against Emerald.

The police asked her over and over again if she was sure and she was adamant that she won't pursue it.

"Is this your way of saying that you will give her one last chance?" Anna asked after the police have left.

Amethyst shook her head, "I can never ever say that I am giving her one final chance."

This shocked the whole lot of them.

They don't understand why she was suddenly speaking of this.

Amethyst took a deep breath and smiled, a sad one.

"I can never say that I was the only one hurting. I didn't know it then and realized it just now. Our parents are seriously excessive."
