Capítulo 93: The Tease

"His Majesty will behold you now."

No sooner had Elizabeth arrived by the threshold than the speaker came out to inform her of this tidings. 

The man who had just told her those words was not the kind master Ezekiel or any other masculine figure she was quite familiar with. 

Yet, Elizabeth accorded a slight nod to his words which he had just stated clearly and with a warm smile printed on the edges of his hard and thin lips.

Instead of that man's countenance to be an element to brighten her own mood and further cause her to loosen up a bit, Elizabeth was not having it because her mind was forever taunted by the fleshed-out possibilities of what could go wrong in the sole presence of Briceus this time around. 

The man quickly went away from there after telling her what he needed to say. 

Before taking another step forward, Elizabeth halted to boost her esteem with her ever effective pep-talk.
