Ethan couldn't help but just chuckle at her cute antics as he pulled her on his lap before saying, "Don't worry.. We won't be late as I've already made all the necessary arrangements for this.."

"Arrangements? What kind of arrangements?" Katherine asked, furrowing her eyebrows in confusion.

Ethan pulled her nose with his fingers playfully and teased her by saying, "I've informed my assistant about me not attending office today. And also sent an email to your office to approve your leave for today and they already did."

Katherine could only listen to his explanation of making arrangements with her mouth gaped open in amusement. She couldn't believe he literally called both of their offices to appeal for their one day leave.

"Ethan… Why did you do that? We didn't need to take a leave for this." Katherine pouted, complaining cutely.
