Lillian smiled brightly, "Your Highness."

"Your Majesty," Nesrin took a subconscious step back.

That caused the smile on Lillian's face to waver, she chuckled and it almost sounded nervous. 

"Please... I hope you can forget our embarrassing encounter?"

That was when Nesrin remembered the time where Lillian had desperately tried to reveal her true identity. Before realizing that, all her heart carried was the fear of vicious deeds Lillian did in the novel.

Nesrin was wary but it was also true that the Lillian she was looking at had done none of those sins and yet her heart refused to calm down in her presence.

She replied, "It's alright, that was nothing." 

Lillian smiled at the reply, but the sadness in the depths of her eyes was too obvious to ignore. Nesrin somehow forgot about how dangerous the empress was, and for a moment she became worried.

"It's getting colder," Lillian sheepishly smiled, "Shall we move into my quarters?"
