Capítulo 60: Strong As A Wind

"In ancient times," Jeremiah began, "The spiritual element was also often referred to as the element of life,"

"Because...it connects different realms of existence?" Nesrin wondered.

"That could be the case but often that was not the only reason," 

Jeremiah paused, when they reached at an intersection. A very faint but sharp shrill could be heard from somewhere, that caused Jane to cower behind Nesrin.

"It's the guardian of these tunnels," Jeremiah glanced back and smiled reassuringly at Jane.

Jane tried to understand what was reassuring about there situation. Jeremiah was badly injured, she and Nesrin were not strong enough to fight a guardian beast and more importantly, time was running out.

Jeremiah continued as if he had no care in the world.
