Were my ears hearing things wrong, I wondered knowing fully well that the voice I've just heard definitely belonged to him.

I would know this because his voice has this rich deep sensation each time he speaks that makes my senses become all mushy at once.

I raised my eyes quickly from my iPad to stare at him and behold, there he stood with a smile as he announced his name.

"I'm Ahir, I'll be substituting for the professor for the time being," and the whole class began to swoon.

"Hey, isn't that Hamdi's friend? The one you have a crush on?" Maya leans in to whisper but my eyes were wide while staring at him and I couldn't even reply to her question.

since when did he become a lecturer? I wondered while staring at him mouth agape until I felt a nudge on my side.
