It was indeed pitiful that no one Anna trusts and relies on are aware of what she went through. 

Maybe she didn't tell others because she didn't want them to torment themselves along with her. 

"And, I actually like Anna so much so, I am happy to listen to her." Ashley added in a teasing voice. 

As Anna is trying so hard to not disclose anything related to her children or her children's death, she can't let Anna's efforts go in vain. 

"Hey, I am here to do whatever she wants. I am her brother and it's my responsibility, so back off for now." Kyle said when he heard Ashley's words.
