Hyunjin's POV
For the past week, I've been thinking about Y/N . And I'm not sure why. It's as if she put me in a trance.
I wanted to see her.
"Hyunjae, please arrange a carriage to Uncheon-myeon. I wish to meet the Royal family." I told my Royal Adviser. "Right away Prince Hyunjin." He said.
The carriage was ready, and I began my journey to see Y/N. I eventually fell asleep till I felt someone shake me.
"Prince Hyunjin, we have arrived." A voice said. I opened my eyes and saw Hyunjae. I looked outside the window and saw a beautiful palace.
I got out of the carriage and began walking to the gate. The guards luckily let me in after I told them who I am.
I entered the palace and bumped into a woman wearing a heavy gown and jewelry. "Oh hello how may I help you?" She asked. "I am here to meet Princess Y/N." I said. "You're here to see my daughter?" She asked.
She was the Queen. "Yes your Majesty." I bowed. "I am Prince Hyunjin of Seongnae-dong." I introduced myself. "Very nice to meet you. I'll go get her." She said as we walked away.
Queen Taeyeon's POV
I went to Y/N's room only to see her looking out the window. "Y/N, someone's here to see you. And be nice, who knows, he could be your future husband." I said. Before she could say anything, I left.
Y/N's POV
Before I could even say anything, my mother left. I really didn't want to meet the man who came to see me. Sighing, I got up and went down to see this man.
When I got downstairs, I saw a man. His back was faced towards me, so I couldn't see his face. "Excuse me?" I said. The man turned around. "Hello Princess Y/N. I am Prince Hyunjin of Seongnae-dong." He said. "Hello. Nice to meet you." I said with a fake smile. He smiled back.
"Should we take a stroll?" He asked. Hesitantly, I nodded. We left the palace and began to walk around the garden.
"So why have you come to meet me?" I asked. "Well I heard you need to be looking for a suitor to be your husband. So here I am." He smiled. I simply nodded.
The atmosphere was uncomfortable. There was an awkward silence, until Hyunjin spoke up. "So tell me about yourself." He asked.
"Well, I like to dance." I said. "I do too!" He exclaimed. "Would you like to dance with me?" He asked. "Sure." I smiled.
I put my hand on his shoulder as he put his hand on my back. We began to dance.
I couldn't help but smile. It's been so long since I danced. "You have a beautiful smile." He said. "T-thank you." I blushed.
Soon it became late. We went back into the palace, and we saw my mother. "Well I must get going." Hyunjin said. "Why don't you come for dinner next week?" Mother asked.
I froze. Why did she invite him for dinner?
"I would love to." Hyunjin said. "Well goodbye." He said. He bowed, and gave me a kiss on the hand. He left and I sat down.
"So what did you think of him?" Mother asked.
I had to admit he was handsome and was very nice.
"He was fine." I said. I left and went to my room before she could ask any more questions.
I sat down on my bed.
I won't fall for him.
I can't fall for him.
I won't let myself marry him.
